Crews from throughout the county and resources from Blair County converged on Station 35 over the weekend. Active Shooter training was provided to EMS personnel and law enforcement. The training focused on how to move swiftly, effectively, and safely in a shooting environment. Crews were responsible for triage, treatment, and extrication of victims.
On Sunday, members of Company 35 went to see a demonstration on the use of a new combination foam product. The product was mixed in pressurized water cans (PWCs) and used to extinguish a tire fire and auto fire. Additionally, members were able to demo thermal imaging masks and thermal imaging cameras with recording features.
