Snow Assignments

March 14, 2017

There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes at THE 3-5 House! Prior to the storm's arrival members readied apparatus, and made provisions for worst case scenarios. This included moving equipment to Special Unit 35--a 4x4 unit, preparing the ballroom for emergency shelter accommodations, and checking all apparatus equipment.

After the snow finished, a crew was out for a public service detail replacing smoke detectors at a disabled member's house.

Later in the evening a three crews spread out throughout the borough and removed snow from around the hydrants. President Fields' family assisted with shoveling hydrants in Dudley.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALL THE RESIDENTS THAT ASSISTED BY SHOVELING THEIR HYDRANT!!!!!
