With the Steelers' season over, Company 35 took liberties to have Tuesday Night Lights at the station. As part of the weekly training night, members not only performed maintenance on its portable lighting, but also check interoperability. Newer members had the opportunity to explore assembling portable lighting, and learned where it was located on all apparatus.
Chief 35 said, "This was a good familiarity exercise, and ensured that we had addressed previous interoperability issues. Members also had a chance to familiarize themselves with the location of adapters used to make portable lighting work with standard residential outlets and mutual aid companies' rigs. Portable lighting is an underutilized asset, and we highlighted its benefits tonight!"
