2016 Saxton Volunteer Fire Company

504 8th Street, Saxton, PA 16678

RIP Trooper Weaver

January 1, 2017

Company 35 was honored to pay respect to Trooper Weaver as his body was transported through our first due coverage area. At approximately 1630 today, Company 35 and Unit 15 members proceeded to the intersection of SR 164 and SR 26 to honor Trooper Weaver, as a procession took his body back to his hometown of Martinsburg.

PIO Diehl said, "We are all family. The general public doesn't truly understand our bonds. We work closely with each other, and the old adage of 'No One Fights Alone in This Family' was evident today. From Harrisburg to Martinsburg, fire and EMS responders came out to pay their respect just as we did. It was an honor and privilege to show support for our brothers and Trooper Weaver's family. Rest in peace brother Weaver."
