Rescue 35 was dispatched for a motor vehicle crash on Henrietta Road. Chief 35 was first on scene and reported hazardous road conditions and a need for Special Unit 35 and ATV 35. Rescue 35 responded with support equipment. ATV 35 was deployed with portable rescue tools. Crews made contact with the driver who was not injured. She was assisted to the top of Henrietta Mountain, and transported to a location to be reunited with family.
Chief 35 stated, "We'd like to remind motorists that Henrietta Mountain receives no winter maintenance. Though the Blair County side is maintained, today illustrated how quickly conditions change on the Bedford side. All motorists are urged to stay off the road."
