Company 35 continued with its Tuesday night readiness training. This week's training focused on primary searches. Probationary firefighters were paired with senior members, and the newbies lead the searches. The senior members provided assistance on ensuring newbies were listening, sounding, and calling out. For several members it was their first time drilling with such a scenario.
Chief Taylor said, "It's imperative everyone is prepared to do a primary search. It certainly is the difference between finding a viable vs deceased patient."
After training, members enjoyed some down time while watching the classic Back Draft and eating pizza. We're just one big family!
