Rescue 35 is a 2004 Pierce Lance. It contains a full complement of hand and hydraulic tools including updated Hurst tools capable to cutting high strength and alloyed steel. It has a1500 gpm pump, 750 gallon water tank, air bags, 5-bottle cascade system, Air-shores, and more. Saxton's Rescue Company is trained in trench, confined space, technical, and animal rescue operations. The department is a PA Department of Health Advanced Certified Rescue, and in 2012 was name Rescue Service of the Year. As of June 2016, there were only 29 Advanced Certified Rescue Companies in the state.


Rescue Operations are exactly what they say. The Rescue Company is responsible for search and rescue at fires and assisting with forcible entry. The Rescue Company is the primary company responsible to motor vehicle accident scenes. Their specialized tools assist with cutting the cars and gaining entry to the patient. They also assist ambulance personnel with patient extrication and packaging. Additional calls might be for freeing children stuck in a fence, building collapses or other physical rescues.
