Reporting an Emergency
All emergencies should be reported by dialing 9-1-1. When calling in your emergency, please be sure to speak calmly and clearly. The dispatcher will ask you a series of questions to ensure you get the appropriate personnel and equipment sent to your emergency. Common questions include: what is your emergency, where are you calling from, what is your address, what is your phone number, what is your name, and what additional information can you give? Though in the event of an emergency the questions seemingly go on forever, the more accurately you can answer them the quicker help can arrive and better prepared personnel will be.
